I'm exhausted as usual. Phillip and I took off on Tuesday and took Abby to the fair, it was $1 with a Dr. Pepper can. She had a blast! She's more like me in the thrill seeking area. She rode pretty much every kiddie ride there was, I didn't expect that. We rode the Ferris wheel first. Phillip was done after that. I think he rode one of the little roller coasters after that but, he was done. He's afraid of heights and can't really do anything that spins, fast or slow, it doesn't matter. It was SO expensive!! I think we spent over $300 dollars. We got Abby a game card because she wanted to play all the games. She got lots of stuffed animals. It was beautiful weather. It wasn't busy, not sure if it was because it was a weekday or the economy. I don't remember it being that expensive the last time we went.
Thursday Phillip sold my car to his friend. We went and looked at the Hyundai Sante Fe's that I wanted. They tried to rip us off. So we left. Friday they called Phillip and told him they would give it to him for what he wanted so I brought it home yesterday. I LOVE IT! It's silver with black leather interior, it's fully loaded. XM radio, navigation system (which I have on my phone but, whatever), sunroof, ALL the bells and whistles! Abby thinks it's awesome! LOL I will post pics as soon as I take some. I'm behind on posting videos and pictures.
On another note, I'm going to quit smoking this weekend. I'm going to take a pregnancy test first. I'm sure I'm not, I think it's this shot that just completely jacked my body up. I don't "feel" pregnant but, I have the symptoms. I got lucky with Abby because when I found out I was pregnant I was only one week gestation which is almost unheard of. I quit smoking the day I found out. I've been doing some research and it shows that you have to quit smoking the first 4 weeks, well most women don't find out until then. They say if you don't quit in the first 4 weeks to not quit because it puts alot of stress on the baby. Well, Marteel isn't smoking while pregnant. So, I might as well be proactive and quit before it happens. This is going to be ugly. The first time I quit there wasn't near the amount of nicotine in cigarrettes that there is now, thanks to the government. Because smokers threatened to quit when they said they were raising the price to $5.00 a pack, the governement allowed them to almost quadruple the nicotine in one cigarrette, making your body need it that much more, and make it that much harder to quit.
The first time I quit it lasted 3 years. The second time it lasted 6 months, the third time 2 months, the last time I tried I didn't make it past 48 hours. I seriously felt like I was coming off tweak. I quit cold turkey all four times, but the last time almost killed me I swear. I was crying for no reason, lashing out. It was bad. For those of you not aware, nicotine IS a drug, it's just not intoxicating. Needless to say I'm scared that will happen again, but I know I can do it. I'm going to start excercising as well, ESPECIALLY when I'm at work. I will be hitting the stairs at work when I would normally go smoke. I will have to lay off coffee (it makes me want to smoke) and I will have to eat smaller portions more frequently to prevent getting the "full" feeling (that makes me want to smoke too). I feel sorry for all the people who will be around me the first 2 weeks. Wish me luck!
