Bad weather

So, some bad weather came through last night apparently. I woke up this morning and took a shower as usual. I was getting ready to blow dry my hair when I heard a dripping sound. I made sure I turned the shower off completely, made sure the sink faucet was off, all were off tight. Then I realized it's the toilet. Well, not exactly. The exhaust fan above the toilet was dripping into the toilet from 2 different places. I take really hot showers so I thought maybe it was condensation, even though it hadn't happened before. So I got up there to try and wipe it off...nope, it's a leak.

So I went about my business of getting Abby up and ready for school, I was just going to tell Phillip when I woke him up. So I got Abby ready and took her into the kitchen to get her breakfast and I looked outside the window and...THE FENCE WAS GONE, in 2 places!! The back part of our fence and the right side!! I was like WTF??! Of course Abby had the answer to what happened "the wind blowed it down". LMAO! I went and told Phillip "Our fence is gone, and the roof in the bathroom is leaking". He shot outta the bed (which does not normally happen in the mornings) LMAO!.

We already contacted the insurance adjuster and appartently it can be as long as 3 days before an adjustor can come assess the damage. Phillip already found someone to replace the fence and fix the leak in case the insurance doesn't cover it. We have to contact HOA to find out if responsibility of the fence is split or if it in fact belongs to the other neighbors. The inside part of the fence faces them, not us. Usually that makes it their fence, their responsibility. We'll see.

I sign Abby up for soccer in June, she starts playing in August. She's SUPER excited. I have to register her for school on Monday :( at least I have the day off. I need it. She will do summer camp May-July, she gets to do a field trip every day, and play in the water every day. They have lots of other fun activities lined up that are not coming to mind at the moment. So she will be busy this Summer. My sweet princess.

Forgot to mention the name change debaucle. Apparently if I'm getting married and change my name, I'm not a terrorist. But since I'm not marrying and I'm changing my last name I have to submit fresh fingerprints for the FBI to do a background check, submit a petition to have my name changed, and get an order signed by a judge okaying the name change, THEN I pay $208 on top of all that. What kind of fuckery is that??
