I can't believe it's already April! I suck at updating this blog. Most of you that just email me know that. lol
Not a whole lot to update. Abby is doing very well. Report card is fantastic, minus behavior. Phillip, Abby, and I took turns getting sick end of March. We're all doing good now. I finally bought Abby a new bed, it should arrive next week. SO cute! I will post pics below. She still wanders into our bed at around 4 a.m. every other day, but that's still excellent for her. lol Abby is 1st grade reading level! I mean she is an absolute EXCELLENT reader. It's quite impressive. I have a video of her reading I just need to upload it. I started reading to her when I was around 4 months pregnant. I read everyday until she was born and I continued after, and I still read to her now.
Mine and Phillip's anniversary is coming up in May. We were rearing to go to Las Vegas, but the weekend we wanted happens to be when my good friend Amy graduates from college with a big fat degree. lol SO, we are going with Amy and her husband to a Rangers game instead. All other weekends are jammed with softball tournaments. Phillip's brother is also coming to visit that week.

Holy 2010
Mother's Day is coming up in May too. Phillip asked me what I wanted, and I already received an early gift! I have wanted a mother's necklace for some time now but didn't quite know what I wanted. I don't like the #1 mom, and stuff like that. I wanted something unique. I found it, and he got it. lol I posted some pics on FB but I'll post some below as well. I LOVE it!
I have figured out what remedial classes I need to finish in order to start pre-reqs for nursing, so my Summer will be spent in school mostly. We're thinking about renting a barge or boat for 10-12 people for July 4th and hang at the lake all day. In August we're going tubing down the river. It may happen before then but I think it's too cool prior to August. Lots of outdoor plans for Summer! I can't wait! Definitely doing the bike riding to get my ass in bikini shape.
House updating is coming along. We got outdoor lighting for the front pathway and a new front porch light, and also a new light for the back porch accomplished. Next is a new inside front door and glass storm door for the front. Then ripping out those hedges along the pathway to the front door. This list goes on and on, but we're getting there.
Phillip and I, I believe have made the final decision to have a second baby. I'm going to accomplish as much school as possible prior to this happening. Most people might say complete the schooling first but, I'm about to be 29 and he's about to be 35. 1 year of pre-reqs, 2 years of full time nursing program...I'm not getting pregnant after that. Way too much of an age gap from Abby, and well, that's just too old for me. I have an appointment with my hematologist next week to discuss my option of having a c-section, and if I can't what my pain management options are. I fear being induced again and having to suffer through the pitocin without pain meds. 14.5 hours of that is not something I want to repeat.
That's all the excitement I have to update you on. :) Here's the pics.

The bed is super cute. I love how it actually adds storage space!
